Shadowbird - RobinClan Deputy

Appearance: Shadowbird is a dark gray, short fur, she-cat. She has a lighter shade of gray, almost blue, on her belly and paws. She had pink paw pads and a pink nose. Her eyes are a gray-green, and there is a gray ring around the iris of her eye. She is well built and the tip of her tail looks as though it was dipped in white paint. 

Personality: Shadowbird is a generous cat. She is a natural leader who gets along with others almost too easily. She loves young cats and helping them become great warriors. She likes spending a lot of time with her family, and enjoys helping others. She knows she was born to a loner, but this doesn’t bother her because she believes it was in GalaxyClan’s will that she would come to RobinClan and help serve the clan. She tries to be nice, but isn’t afraid to be commanding when needed. She doesn’t tolerate bullying and if anyone is being mean, she won’t hesitate to break it up. She sometimes seems like a push over as she sometimes lets people talk her down, but if it goes to far, or if her honor is at stake, she isn’t afraid to step in and take over. 

History: A loner was pregnant with Kits when her mate was killed by a monster on the thunder path. When she had her Kits, there were 4. Two of them were born dead. One of the surviving two looked just like her, and the other looked just like her mate. However, she was very sick and knew she was likely to die soon. She knew of the clans and how they would occasionally take in Kits without a mother. Afternoon through thought, she disided that by separating the Kits, the Kits might have a better chance. The kit that would be known as Ursakit was left at FrostClan, and the kit to be known as Shadowkit was left at RobinClan. The loner then left, hoping her Kits would be okay. The liner had dropped off Ursakit first, and was in her way to RobinClan to drop off Shadowkit, when a RobinClan border patrol caught whiff of the loner and cake running to defend their territory. When they caught the sick loner with her newborn kit, the could tell she was very sick. The leader of the patrol sent an apprentice to get the medicine cat. They asked the cat what she wanted here. The cat begged them to take the kit and take care of her. They looked in pity at the little kit, and promised to ask their leader. The loner nodded and then died peacefully knowing her kits would be safe. By the time the medicine cat made it to them, the loner had passed. The patrol took the kit to camp and asked their leader if they could let it in, explaining the situation. The clan accepted the kit. A queen and her mate accepted the kit, having a small litter of only 1 kit, and they promised to take care of her. Shadowkit and her adopted sister, Seakit, were very close, and grew closer as they got older. They did everything together.
As an apprentice, Shadowpaw was a natural-born leader. She was really good at helping people find and bring out their talents and hidden potential. Cats felt naturally drawn to her. Even as her group of friends grew, however, Skypaw remained her best friend. One day, when she was out on a walk with her her mentor and a few other apprentices and their mentors for a training session, Shadowpaw caught the sent of a creature she hadn’t smelled before, but could distinguish from the stories she had heard about them... a dog. It was coming fast, and she could soon hear it, and then see it. The mentors told the young cats to run, and the apprentices were soon split from their mentors. A two-leg had let their dog outside, and the dog had broken out of the fenced in area and ran off into RobinClan territory. Skypaw and the other, new apprentice ran with Shadowpaw. The dog chased after them. Shadowpaw called for Skypaw to get the young apprentice back to camp, and to bring help. Skypaw didn’t want to at first, but she knew it was important to get the young apprentice to camp before the dog attacked her, plus, Shadowpaw hand much more stamina and speed than her. Shadowpaw called to the dog, making fun of it, and calling for it to follow her. She was beginning to get tired, when Skypaw and the mentors arrived, the young apprentice safely back at camp getting more help. Together, they fought off the dog, and it turned tail and ran back to it’s owner. They went back to camp and that night, they were made warriors.
Shadowbird was given an apprentice only a few months after before my made a warrior. She and Skycloud were given two of 5 from a litter of kits. The apprentices were trained altogether, and soon they were all made warriors. At 34 moons, the deputy of the clan retired and so a new deputy was required. Shadowbird was asked to be deputy as she had shown great leadership qualities, Shadowbird happily accepted the role, gald to be able to help her clan. No one seemed to mind that she was born to a loner, as she had been brought to the clan only days old, and was one of the most loyal cats in the clan. She has been doing great as a deputy so far and loves helping serve her clan and leader, even though she gets nervous at times.
