Sanctuary 097 Quiet Room

Sanctuary 097 Quiet Room is where patients can go if they seek silence and to indulge into art, located on Level 3. Guards are stationed outside the doors, as with all rooms, and psychiatrists often walk around to overlook and help out. It's a fairly large room, with about four long tables wrapped in paint-covered tarps and stationed with eight stools on each side. The wall was painted white but is now slowly chipping, inspirational posters hung up over the cracks in the foundation. Large cabinets around found on the opposite side of the room from the tables, in which patients can find folded easels and other art supplies, and what seems like a tiny linen closet actually leads to a kiln and a machine that deposits clay to work with. Another long table found next to the cabinets hold about nine desktop computers for patients to play games or write. The most important rule is no talking.

Mara walked into the quiet room, looking around. She ran her fingers along the tables as she walked past, looking around for something to do. It wasn't like there was a limit on what to do, she just wasn't in the mood for anything here. Maybe... well, she couldn't paint. She might just play a game on one of the screens. Better than sitting in an empty room all day, right?

Camille gave a polite nod to the guard stationed outside the quiet room before stepping inside, silently observing the cracked walls and ripped inspirational posters and tarps crusted with old paint. She hadn't been here in a while, maybe a few months, simply because she wasn't too fond of art. However, days had seemingly stretched longer and longer, with nothing new to do anymore, so she had woken up and decided to try and make something. She swerved through the haphazardly placed stools and opened the small closet, turning a machine's handle and quickly grabbing the thick piece of grey clay that was produced. Stepping back into the main room, she spotted her friend, Mara, and smiled. "Good morning." she sighed as she took a seat on one of the rickety stools near Mara and began to roll the clay out into a thin cylinder shape.
