past. gracie grew up in a small town, her mother a maid who worked at a luxurious hotel. throughout her high school years, gracie worked a lot of odd jobs. during her youth, some would have described her as a classic mean girl. her father had connections with nearly everyone in the town, and he was quite the criminal himself. she was accustomed to an easy school life because of her father bribing the principal, and she grew to become very popular amongst the students. even through college everyone knew her and her family's notorious name. when she turned twenty-one her father was arrested for fraud, and she and her mother moved into a cozy apartment near the white house. the repopulation project was growing, and it soon hit the newspapers. gracie had become more mature, and wanted to escape the clutches of her criminal parents. she managed to get a job as a guard, and she holds her ground every day. she actually moved into the sanctuary, along with many other workers. she's made friends along the way and she finds her job very fitting.
