accessories/scars. nico wears no accesories. he has scars across his eyes from the time he blinded himself out of control with his own power. 

personality.nico is a bit self-centered because of his many years growing up wealthy. he was never really taught to share much, so he can be pretty greedy at times as well unless it is logical that someone needs help. he's pretty obnoxious of his surroundings and quite naive. this can make him frustrating or irritating to deal with at times. nico, when faced with danger, may be timid at first, but he'll try to stand his ground as the best he can. despite these bad aspects of his personality, he's loyal to his friends even though he might not show that he cares all the time; it's all an act. he's very hardworking and educated, so he knows logical reasoning and such. although he grew up differently and has a harder time speaking with people there since he offends them without realizing it, he really does wish to have ordinary friends who he can have fun with. he can be a bit stubborn as well, and persistent, but it has a positive side to it, which helps him not give up easily. 

positive - hyalokinesis, the power to manipulate glass. he is able to move, control the density, and control the sharpness. 

elemental -  geokinesis, although most users with this power have the ability to control all earth and plant aspects, nico is only strong in stone and some rock but is able to a little bit of the others. he can use this to sense vibrations through the ground, helping him move and see without using his eyes. 

negative -  molecular combustion, the ability to cause things to explode. the side effect is that he is slowed down when using this, and the bigger it is he might be unable to move.

illnesses.  mild anxiety, PPD, insomnia 

history.  nicolas was born into a wealthy family. he is an only child, and his parents were both living in germany before moving to the united states of america for better money and deals for their business. they were often absent in nico's life and most of the time he was watched by the maids because of his parents traveling so much. he was sent to attend a private british school in the area, which was very expensive as well. most of the time, he had fine grades but because of his background, he was often envied. one day, walking home from school, a group of teens from the area, of course much poorer compared to him, threatened to beat him up if he didn't hand over some money. of course, nico being irritated instead of getting it over with refused to do so and only upset them more by calling them insulting names. he was never exposed to dangerous situations, so he did not know what to do once they began beating him up. they took his pocket money and threw him in one of the dumpsters in that alleyway. the trash inside was filled with radiation from the sanctuary's leak, giving him abilities and powers. so much anger filled nico, that he used his power after struggling out of the dumpster. he controlled glass from the dumpster, aiming it at the bullies. one was injured, and the rest ran off with him slowly behind. nico finally realized what had happened and began panicking. the glass was accidentally aimed towards him with his own unstable control, causing him to cut himself, as well as his eyes.some of the radiation got into his eye, while he was able to close them to prevent severe damage. however, the radiation soon seeped in later, causing him to go blind and unable to see. nico was found there by some people walking down the sidewalk while screaming about how he couldn't see. the ambulance soon took him to the hospital, and he described how the kids who caused this looked like. once the police questioned them about it, they informed one of the people working at the police station that nico had somehow controlled glass. although they did not believe it, of course, one overheard and knew about the sanctuaries. they contacted his parents, explaining how he should go to a different hospital to help with the panic disorder he had gotten. his parents believed this altered story and sent him to the sanctuary unknowingly. the bacteria that entered his eyes from the glass soon caused them to go white, making him fully blind. however, he has worked to be able to sense vibrations in the ground to see.
