appearance. zara is slightly tanned with long, muddy gold hair. she's tall, curvy and has pale brown eyes that have specks of darker browns and greens in. her lips are thick and her nose is wider as it goes down.

accessories/scars. zara has a bullet wound scar on her upper left arm, on both sides - where the bullet entered and exited. she doesn't wear jewellery except for a dark blue fitbit she hardly ever takes off, except for when it needs charging.

personality. zara is quite chatty. she's good at following orders and is a relaxing presence for others to be around - at least, usually. it can take a lot to get her angry, she's always quite optimistic. she's loyal and brave, willing to take risks if it means the sanctuary is safe. though she doesn't one hundred per cent understand what the sanctuary is doing, she knows it's important and that it can change the world.

past. zara's mother died during childbirth, and she never met her father. her aunt and uncle became her guardians, and they raised her well. they had one daughter, candice, who had an ongoing rivalry with zara. she never really knew what she wanted to do as she grew, but eventually, she ended up joining the police force. one time, on a mission, she got shot in the arm. while in the hospital, someone mentioned the sanctuary. zara thought about applying as a guard for the sanctuary, and eventually - with some convincing from her guardians - she did. she got the job and since then, has been working as a guard.
