we hold on so tight, but i don't wanna die, no

appearance. mariya has tanned skin and dark brown hair that goes down to her elbows, with lighter grey-blonde tips when her hair reaches her shoulders. it's usually held in pigtails, or at least part of it is. her eyes are a dark grey, appearing silver in some lights, and she's constantly 'glitching' so echoes of her appearance are copied next to her or behind her for moments at a time.

accessories/scars. mariya wears gauntlets on her forearms which make it easier for her to be tangible. she also wears a silver necklace with a white, translucent crystal, which is blunted at the end. there are a hood and gloves in her jacket, and headphones built into her hood. she only has one scar, a long line stretching down her spine.

powers.
positive - invisibility. a benefit of her density changing means she can turn invisible, though she can still be detected by other senses, and while invisible it's a lot harder to control how she walks through walls or the like.
element - photokinesis. she can create and manipulate red light (not yellow or white), and often creates tendrils of it when bored or fires bolts of it.
negative - intangibility. the cells in her body are constantly being ripped apart and stitched back together again, so she's intangible unless she has her gauntlets and/or the special metallic fabric her clothes are made of.

personality. mariya is a bit of a chaos gremlin, at last on the outside. she likes to tease people and play pranks, and often pretends to be more childish than she is. she's nearly always craving contact, which she usually can't get due to her powers, and she covers up her sadness with an active personality. at the same time, though, she likes to gather blackmail on people. usually for pranks, sure, but mostly just to have something against them if they try to have something against her, or if she needs a favour.
