and i can finally see

appearance. aurora is tanned, with long brown hair. she has curved lips and sharp, shaped eyes that have a very dark brown shade which looks almost black.

accessories/scars. aurora has a series of burn scars running up her right upper arm. she always wears a bluetooth piece in her ear, hardly ever taking it out. she wears a plain chain necklace.

powers.
positive - machine understanding. she can understand everything about how a machine works by simply touching it. she can do it without a touch if she concentrates, but it's hard for her to focus. with the machine understanding, she can also find out immediately what to destroy or add to make it serve its purpose for her.
element - electrokinesis. she can create and manipulate electricity. it usually appears in the form of spreading over objects she touches, in contrast to firing it out of her hands. when she gets emotional, she often accidentally electrocutes things.
negative - energy channelling. she can become a power source, letting energy travel through her or come from her without killing her. however, she usually gets severe burns from this somewhere on her body (usually where the power is directed to).

what has always been right there in front of me

personality. aurora is very eccentric. she's a genius, especially in anything to do with maths or engineering or physics, and is always moving. very active, she moves faster than everyone else and is always 5 steps ahead. she's talkative and likes to think of herself as funny, whether she really is or not. she's pretty optimistic and when she really gets into a project she enjoys, she's very focused. she can be apathetic at times and doesn't understand boundaries sometimes. aurora has a hopeful view of the world, always wanting the best.
