Winterlight is a true albino she-cat. Her eyes are pale blue and pinkish. Her eyes can be full pinkish, however this is very rare. She is extremely sensitive to the sun and her fur is very short.

Winterlight is an inspiring she-cat. She doesn't let others push or let her down. She doesn't care what others say. She lets herself be herself, and always finds the joy in life. She loves to hunt, even if she must hunt with the dusk patrols. She loves to work hard, playing and telling stories to the kits. She has a very creative imagination, probably from the time cooped up in the nursery, apprentice den and the warriors den. She loves to tell stories, telling ones of heroes from around the world. A thing in her stories always include a she-cat saving the hero, before the heroes save their clan. However, her daydreaming can lead to her downfall. She tends to not listen to things around her and daydream, until.. well she falls over a tree root. She is also shy, she doesn't like being in the centre of attention.

Winterlight was born as Smallkit, to two warriors of FrostClan, Kindlestorm (Dead, greencough) and Bravepelt (Dead, border scrimish). Smallkit often got sick because of her faults, as she hated the sunlight. She couldn't bare be in the sun, often staying in the nursery. This caused her mother to worry, so she asked the medicine cat to check her. The medicine cat diagnosed her as sickly, telling her mother Smallkit wouldn't survive the fast approaching winter. So, when she reached six moons, the leader decided to rename her without telling anyone. She was named Winterpaw, as the leader said it was up to Winterpaw to survive the winter, no one else. Winterpaw took this to heart and when greencough spread, she stayed away from it, before watching her mother die. Winterpaw was able to see her first new-leaf and smell the flowers. She often strayed out at night and then asked the leader if she could hunt at night so she didn't have to worry about the sun. The leader only agreed when her friend, Bluepaw, said she would go out with her. So, that started the expeditions at night. Winterpaw became Winterlight, as the leader said she was the light that guided other cats into ignoring what they cant do and do what they can. Winterlight always made sure she could help her clan as well as possible.
