Sanctuary 001 Library

Sanctuary 001 Library is where patients and workers can go to read any genre of book, including the history of the Sanctuaries, how the fertilizing process happens, and more about the Repopulation Project. There is a collection of tables in a secluded corner of the library with bins of pencils, markers, crayons, and other art supplies for the patients to use. It is one of the largest rooms constructed in the Sanctuary and has a dome-like shape. It has many windows, including beautiful stained glass. The library is where the tours usually take place, workers leading college students interested in the political or scientific field and teaching them about the Sanctuary. Patients are not allowed in the library during tours, but at any other time it is open and they usually aren't given a restriction to their powers.

The raven-haired girl took in a deep breath of the warm, comforting air the books in the library held. It was one of the most welcoming places in the sanctuary; the exact opposite of the cold walls in their cells. Casey was on high alert, per usual, and her mind was racing with all the questions she wanted answered about her powers, the scientists, this strange place. And what better way to find those solutions than the place filled with loads and loads of records and statistics she was seeking for? She paused at one of the bookshelves, muttering the letters on the front that aided people in finding what book they sought out. Giving a curt nod to herself, she entered the walls of books, both ancient looking and new alike. Her fingers traced the books' spines, while her sharp, hazel-green eyes skimmed over the titles. Anything, just anything that could help her get out of this place would be helpful.

Mariana walked into the library, hands tucked into her pockets. She wasn't entirely sure why she was here right now -- well, that wasn't strictly true. She'd been barred from the closest thing to the outside she could get to right now, so here she was. Well, nobody had said she didn't have an imagination. Books weren't always her thing, but she thought she may as well explore a little more. She was distracted by a woman, with dark hair, running her fingers along the books' spines. Walking over, she leaned on the bookshelf behind her and tilted her head. "Bit early for lurking in the library, isn't it?" she asked, smiling a little.

Casey nearly jumped out of her skin from surprise, her eyes turning a faint yellow for a couple of seconds before fading away back to their normal hue. She had been so deep in thought, her usual sharp senses hadn't even noticed the blonde-haired women even entering the room. "O-oh, I'm just," She answered, trying to regain her composure and glancing back towards the books for a moment all the while making up a lie in her head, "Bored... just looking for a gripping new story." Casey finally made eye contact, almost captivated by the near glowing blue eyes before returning the friendly smile. "I'm Casey, by the way," She greeted, one hand pulling out a book and cringing at how books about the government were supposed to be "gripping".
