appearance. dana has light skin and dark green hair that looks black in some lights, which is natural after she gained her powers. she has an angled face and dark green eyes that almost glow in specific circumstances. they reflect her powers when she's using them, shifting like the mist. she has rather sharp nails, usually painted black, and sometimes wears some makeup around her eyes, and sometimes lips. she enjoys wearing black, leather jackets and ripped jeans most of the time.

accessories/scars. dana wears a lot of metal, including metal bracelets and rings and metal-studded boots. a lot of the metal she wears also has green and/or black gems engraved or attached. she has a scar on her waist above her left thigh, a jagged line from a rough knife cut.

powers.
positive - ferrokinesis. she can manipulate metal. when doing this, it's visible by a sort of greeny coloured mist around her hands and fingers, and when she's manipulating higher amounts (or sometimes when she just wants to) the green can have a reddish-brown centre.
element - photokinesis. she can create small beams of light. usually, it's weak, and she can't use it as a weapon, but she can create a small light source and she has a trick she often does when bored or alone when her light and magnetic powers mix.
negative - blood senses. she senses when and where somebody is bleeding. however, when she does it, she feels the same pain as the person with the injury. the same amount of blood would also appear on her body where the injury is. she can sometimes make blood appear on her skin, and create and manipulate only the blood she creates.

personality. dana is relatively aggressive. she's smart, but she usually likes going with the most violent option available. street smart and fast on her feet, dana is hot-headed and snarky, and very stubborn. it's incredibly hard to get her to apologize for anything, and she won't do anything she doesn't want to do or thinks isn't beneficial to her. she's almost always betting on various things, whether it's a carrot or $2,000. she's impulsive, often digging herself into holes that she can't get out of.

past. dana was born in washington dc without a father or a mother. she was raised in a foster home, playing games with the other children which were probably for somebody older and stealing alcohol which was definitely for somebody older. she grew up faster than a child should have. at fifteen years old, she was playing by a river with her girlfriends. they were messing around, and dana fell in. she came out again, not noticing anything different. they returned home and she went back to the foster home. it took a few weeks for her powers to surface, metal coming towards her and bending around her. she stole more alcohol, made more bets, became more aggressive. one day, she was at dinner and her hands started glowing, metal cutlery bending under her touch. dana ran, metal bending towards her like a magnet as she did so. once she'd calmed down, she realised she was lost and tried to find out where she was. she ended up outside a casino and she went inside, only catching a glimpse before she was forced out again for being too young. she saw herself in the reflection of the window, and realised her hair had turned green. she slept rough for a night, then broke into somebody's house and stole some knives. she cut her hair shorter then stole their money, finding an abandoned warehouse and moving in. now she'd stopped moving, dana started discovering her other power, her blood senses. she was walking past somebody and they tripped, and she felt a sudden sharpness in her knee. when she got home, there was blood but no injuries. it took her a while to get used to it, and she spent the next two years honing her powers. she got a job in a diner as well, and stayed in her warehouse. one time, dana was caught out and a victim of an attempted mugging. she stabbed one of the men, but got stabbed herself. assuming it wasn't her wound, she returned to her home. when it didn't stop hurting, she ended up messily treating it herself. it didn't work and it got infected, so she had to go to hospital and it scarred. dana continued to work in the diner, until one day it got robbed while she was on shift. she threw the cash register at the attempted robber, and took off. unknown to her, one of the workers at the sanctuary was there and he tracked her down. she fought back, killing him, and ran away. in the middle of a park, more workers came for her, and she brought down a helicopter. she was brought in anyway, and when she arrived she was made unable to use her powers for a month.
