accessories/scars. rowan wears two lotus flower earrings, and has many small scars from her incident.

appearance. rowan patterson is actually pretty short for her age, and was often made fun of her height during the time she lived a normal life in college. her dark-chocolate brown hair is silky, and flows down mid-way to her chest in a slightly wavy texture. her eyebrows are usually groomed with little to no makeup on, since they are pretty dark already and thick enough. rowan's eyes just below are doe-like sparkly blue, usually with some mascara on to make them appear less sleepy. she has a button nose, straight and short, with plump, pouty lips under. her cheekbones are high, accompanied with a heart-shaped face. rowan has an hourglass body shape with a peachy skin tone.

personality. rowan used to be quite the extroverted and sociable teenager when younger, but ever since she acquired her powers, or "gifts" some may call them, schizophrenia entered her life. since then, rowan tried her best to smile and be friendly, but can't help being terrified of her hallucinations and own mind causing her to hear, see or feel negative things. despite this, she finds the good in people before the bad, and would never hurt someone on purpose. thus, living in sanctuary 097 is both physically an emotionally scarring for her; to have to train as a military tool. rowan enjoys painting to calm down her problems, although most of the time lingers around the sanctuary alone.

powers.

- positive: intangibility, ability to go through objects/walls.

- elemental: aerokinesis, ability to manipulate air.

- negative: telekinesis, ability to control things with her mind. negative side effect is that she will experience bleeding somewhere, could be both internally and on the outside; though it will recover.

illnesses. schizophrenia

history. rowan was born to a normal family, and lived life cheerfully and made many friends. however, rowan one day went out for a walk in the woods nearby. she ate a few berries, which were affected by the radiation and she slowly gained her powers. back at her dorm was first when she noticed it happened. she had moved a couple things with her telekinesis when she had one of her panic attacks. rowan didn't believe it at first and thought she was going insane from sleep deprivation due to tests, but it happened again and she began to research about it, becoming obsessed over the topic. unable to find out what was happening to her, one day she experienced a severe amount of schizophrenia, (which happened from the radiation), out in public during a presentation in her college class. rowan's telekinesis and aerokinesis ticked in because of her panicking as a body defense and a few students were harmed by shattered glass and fallen over furniture; including herself. rowan was afraid the police would find her and take her to jail before she stumbled across an old article for a mental hospital. she thought maybe if she could cure her mental illnesses, the strange powers would go away, so she voluntarily brought herself to the sanctuary.
