appearance. all of the sisters are tall, with light skin and blonde hair that reaches down to their shoulders. they have light blue eyes that glow when they're using their telepathy. they always style their hair in the same way and wear the same clothes. they have been given a band, each a different colour, that they have to wear around their wrist so the staff there can tell them apart.

accessories/scars. none of the sisters has any scars except for darya, who has some burn scar on her left hip. if wearing accessories, they all wear the same thing, as well as the band showing who's who that they can't take off.

powers.
positive - telepathy. they can read minds, both individually (shallow thoughts only) or going deeper in and finding out deep dark secrets, wishes and dreams (when together). the more there are, the easier it is to find the hidden stuff.
element - they each have a different element: aella can control and manipulate air, briar the earth and flowers, celosia water and darya fire and heat.
negative - mind control. only possible when all four of them are there, together they can control minds and make people do what they want. while it works with three, and sometimes two depending on who they are, it isn't guaranteed. while doing it they're vulnerable and after they're physically weaker.

past. aella, briar, celosia and darya storm were born in new york, usa. their mother and father lived in a small apartment, and they were usually always well behaved. they always stuck together. when they were 3, their father was arrested for robbery. their mother had to take care of them alone, and eventually remarried when they were 5. at school, the four often managed to get into trouble, but somehow they always managed to get out of it. sometimes, they'd pretend to be each other. then, when they were 12, their mother was killed in a robbery gone wrong. they didn't get along with their stepfather and frequently rebelled against him. at 16 years old, they went swimming in a river in the middle of a forest while exploring. unknown to them, the water was radiated. they got their powers and became even more connected. they could always see what the others were thinking and often started talking at the same time and doing the same movements. however, they also found out that they'd get incredibly anxious and worried if one would go missing. they made their way to virginia without their stepfather knowing, and started living there. when their stepfather found out, he followed them to virginia and accidentally found out about their powers. he called the sanctuary and they were taken in. they've been in sanctuary 097 for 3 years now. for a year in the middle, they were transferred to 001 because of problems with space, but then they were transferred back to 097 after escaping.

personality. aella is the calmest sister. she's observant and quiet by herself, but not shy. however, she can easily turn deadly if you treat her the wrong way. it's hard to make her lose her temper, and she rarely displays frustration or anger. smart, she takes the time to think about things before rushing in. aella likes diving deep into what people know and is naturally curious. at the same time though, when she's alone, she can be described as almost... feral, in that she almost doesn't care anymore. she's careless and a lot less composed than she is when near others.

personality. briar is the most down-to-earth of her sisters. while the others usually stand together and wear everything the same, she doesn't unless it's part of a larger goal. she's kinder than the others, too, and can be a bit of a pushover at times. unlike the others, she doesn't enjoy manipulating others as much as them. she enjoys spending time in the greenhouse and likes the feeling of getting her hands dirty. she's also very touch starved, constantly, and always needs hugs.

personality. celosia is one of the more mischevious sisters. she enjoys using the mind control and telepathy the most out of all four of them, and she's often quite cheeky. she's flirtatious and likes messing around with people. her mood can change very quickly - one moment she can be calm and sweet, the next moment she can be raging up a storm. she's probably the worst liar, instead being honest even when it hurts (especially when it hurts). she has more of an ego than she probably should have, but oh well.

personality. darya is the 'leader' of the sisters. she usually stands in the middle at the front and is rather bossy. she's hot-headed and stubborn, easily angered. she shows her anger by using her powers and takes out her frustrations on other people. cruel and morbidly curious, she doesn't have any guilt about digging all the way into others' minds. she wants all four of the sisters to stay together so they can be most powerful, and gets frequently annoyed at briar for being 'soft'. the strongest, along with celosia, the two are attached at the hip while sometimes aella goes off to do other things. she doesn't show her crazy as much as celosia, though.
