appearance:

safdar is huge, at 6"2. he has a very muscular figure. his hair was shaved on its sides a while ago, his sides now probably two or three inches long. the top portion is pulled back into a "ponytail," but only gets maybe half an inch past the elastic. his eyes are a dull, sightless brown, soft in shape because of his indian origin. his skin is darker, ears a bit bigger and nose a bit wider as all indians are. he wears a light grey t-shirt with a black long-sleeved undershirt and red sweat-pants. he wears thin, old-style martial arts flats.

accessories:

none, other than his walking cane.

personality:

safdar is gentle. he is quiet, and a great listener. it's not that he is shy, he loves interacting with other people in fact; however, he is not open about himself and likes to keep things private. as his family traditions go, he is quite selfless and doesn't speak unless spoken to. he is as polite as he can be, and puts a good amount of effort into everything he does.

element (powers):

solid intangibility manipulation: safdar, while holding his breath, can phase through solid objects. this only accounts for one state of matter. he must always have a part of his body outside the object of which he is phasing through, so the thickest thing he can go through is the length of his body (fingertip to foot). this is not an ability that can be trained, however, he can work on being able to hold his breath for longer periods of time.

positive: safdar, while blind, has clairvoyance. while it is not as capable as it is in the movies, he is able to see through the eyes of whatever living thing he is touching. for this ability, he has to be touching the skin of a creature, not any sort of protective wear (ex. clothing).

negative: safdar has confession inducement, where he can induce a target to tell the absolute truth to any question he asks; however, in turn, he can't lie for 10 hours afterwards and the effect can stack depending on how many questions he asks.

illnesses:

retinoblastoma cancer (previously), photophobia (since cancer treatment)

history:

safdar wasn't always blind. he was an okay kid. his family was big on being polite and putting others before yourself, but in turn, safdar grew up to be selfish and harmful to his friends. while his family never found out, even as he is in the sanctuary today, he feels immense guilt. the first of his powers that he discovered was his manipulation of intangibility, which happened when he got hit by a truck at age 13. he ended up keeping this a secret and used it to get into trouble. he was interrogated for a drug bust at age 14, where he was found to be innocent and unlocked his negative power. he loved his new specialties and used them carelessly, which got him caught and sent to the nearest sanctuary on his 15th birthday. he started going blind and was diagnosed with retinoblastoma cancer at age sixteen, which humbled him down from his high. he unlocked his clairvoyance after he finished his treatment. they didn't end up needing to amputate his eyes, but now he is forever blinded.
