APPEARANCE/ACCESSORIES

jay is a bit short for their age and absolutely hates it when their height is made fun of. they have a lean build with fair skin, dark brown short hair, a thin nose, and warm, chocolate brown eyes. often they use crutches due to their illness when it gets to the worst point. if in fighting, protective gear is a must since their body is so frail. because of the negative power, jay usually brings with a gas mask to not breathe in their own toxic fumes.  

PERSONALITY

jay is a very cool-headed and quiet person, and quite often neutral despite associating themselves as a villain. in fact, one of their favorite pastimes is just being in deep thought by themselves without the chaotic group of villains screaming every minute. they're intelligent and have a knack for investigating things and has a sweet spot for animals, however, they've grown a hatred for society and the government. not wanting to be in hiding as a coward, nor be captured in the sanctuary, jay is pretty comfortable with the villain group right now. they lack a bit of empathy and would kill without hesitation if engaged in a fight. however, towards the villains, jay is more thoughtful and generous, although feelings are not something easily dealt with for themselves. to others, jay is a bit mysterious and hard to read, but usually never questioned as they think things through more thoroughly. however patient and smart they are, socializing is not their forte and things can often end up awkward in a conversation, but they'll never even notice.

HISTORY

jay was always the odd child pretty much anywhere they went. they were always detached from all the other children in life, never feeling like they fit in, much less to their own gender. over the years, jay struggled with their family as they didn't understand, nor like the fact, jay wanted to be categorized as agender rather than female. an intelligent teen, they always excelled in school and wanted to do something bigger; much of the time getting bored with the topics taught to them since most of it was easy to understand. however, it all went downhill once they gradually showed more and more symptoms of schizoid personality disorder. their parents often yelled at them, since jay was most of the time in their room off in their own world while being both emotionally, and socially distant. overtime they also grew to become colder towards people and relationships, as well as society as a whole. they saw it as if it were infected and broken. once they were exposed by the radiation blast, they also were diagnosed with brittle bone disease. while in the hospital, they figured out the doctors' plans to take them to the sanctuary by investigating around. using their powers before the sanctuary people would come to get them, they escaped; causing many workers in the hospital, as well as innocent patients to breathe in the toxic fumes and die/be affected. luckily, they had been able to find a sufficient mask to not be as prone to the toxicity. since they could not go home, they had no choice but to hide in the shadows and wander around. being smart enough, they found others like them; with powers and hatred for the government.
