Sanctuary 038 Library

Sanctuary 038 Library has a signature arching entrance with as many books you could dream of, located on Level 3. The floor is shiny and lined with wood, as well as the various tables situated around the room. It is mostly kept so clean because its one of the only inside spots of the Sanctuary allowed for tourists. Patients are, of course, not allowed inside during tours, but during their own roaming hours it is free to their use as stated in the law, with not many power restrictions.

Shirase slipped into the library, careful to not bump into anyone and be forced into a conversation. Not to mention the stage of shocking them with her way of communicating: telepathy, and then leading on to having to explain it over their overbearing curiosity. She stood next to one of the first few bookshelves, resting her elbow on her arm that was hugging her side, as she studied the titles.

Ray drifted into the library, hands fiddling with the bottom of her shirt as she looked around. She was looking for her friends, probably, she couldn't really remember. Either way, this place as nice and quiet. She was missing her realm, and she sort of wanted to head back, so if she found somewhere comfortable she was going to take a nap and play in her realm. It was nicer there, less people.

Max stumbled through the doors of the library, shooting a lopsided smile at the woman standing behind a desk. He was too preoccupied with his phone - a very old and slow one that the Sanctuary had provided him with so he could track his insulin levels. The screen kept loading and loading, and he tapped his finger rapidly as if it would make it go any faster. "Oh my god, please," he tilted his head back in exasperation, not noticing the arc beginning the rows of bookshelves and walking straight into it. He pursed his lips and swiped his hand across the wood before plopping himself into the nearest chair, leaning back and lifting his phone up towards the ceiling.

Ray turned at the sound of a voice, having dropped into a chair. "Hiyo," she greeted, giving him a wave before wiggling in the chair she sat in, curling up a little more. She made a quick hand gesture, creating a blanket out of shadows and curling up under it. It wasn't solid and it didn't keep her warm, but it was kind of comforting in a weird way.

Max dropped his phone to his lap and turned to Ray with an exasperated smile and droopy eyes. "Good morning," he said, almost immediately yawning and stretching his arms over the back of the chair. His eyes flicked down to her shadow blanket and he raised an eyebrow, twirling his hand in the air and creating a sheet of ice to cover himself. He hissed inwardly as soon as it touched his skin, and he snapped it away. "Damn." he muttered, sticking his phone into his pocket and stretching out his legs underneath the table. As per usual, he had completely forgotten the important task at hand - making sure he didn't die from lack of insulin. But, oh well.

Shirase's dark chocolate-brown eyes followed the familiar sound of annoyed groans, followed shortly after a large thump on one of the bookcases; earning a small breath of laugh from her. With her collection of books, she made her way over to where her two friends sat in bean bags, taking her own seat at a desk before plopping the pile of books on it. She gave a quick nod of greeting to both of them, the corner of her lip twitching upwards into a small smile. What's up with you? She questioned Max, using her telepathy all the while studying the frustrated boy with a raised eyebrow of concern.
