Sanctuary 001 Communal Showers

Daisy turned to Carys, barely even noticing Vana around her neck. She shuddered a bit, wondering why she was always in her animal forms. Focus. she told herself, and rubbed her hands on her thighs as if to wipe off dust. "It wasn't us, it was our brother. He didn't mean to. He... doesn't have control," she offered, hoping the girls wouldn't catch her lie. "We just wanted to mess around and introduce ourselves." she grimaced at her wording, and without command the skin covering her spine started to break apart. Her wings did that sometimes, just because they were so big and couldn't be contained for long. But she still wasn't used to the pain, and she fell to the floor with a yelp, pressing a hand against the wall and lifting the back of her nightgown so she wouldn't rip it again.

Riley scowled at the girl's explanation, watching the snake curled around the other's neck with careful eyes, as if the second she blinked it would lunge at her. She felt strangely threatened, even though they were all in the same situation of living at the Sanctuary. "Thanks for that," she waved her hand in the air to indicate the illusion of them fighting from earlier. "You could have just said hello like a normal person." she curled her lips, twirling weak orange strands of lightning between her fingers but stopping when the longer haired girl dropped to the floor. She watched with awe, almost, as large wings began to protrude from her back.

Levana hissed one more time, sensing everyone’s emotions all at once from this form. She twitched the tip of her tail a little, her eyes on the one watching her. But she looked to the other two girls in turn, before watching Daisy. She felt her pain, not physically but by some sort of ‘bond’ she had with her siblings. She opened her mouth ever slightly and half jumped, half leaped onto the ground beside Daisy. She made a circle around her once before growing into a much larger version of herself. She was now about 8ft long and 2ft in diameter. She kept beside Daisy, raising the upper half of her body so she could give her support if needed.

Levana smelled the fear of the girl almost instantly, and in defense she shrouded herself and Daisy with her shadows. But at the same time she did that, she thought of a tough animal and shifted a third time. Now she was a black bear, her entire body trying to  shield Daisy as she felt the one of the halves of the sink hit her. She felt a sharp slice and pain in her side, as a part of a sink had cut a deep enough gash to make her bleed. She growled deeply and looked at the girl who had thrown it, her eyes blazing with anger and pain.

Azrail watched from the stall's crack as his setup began to unfold. Right when Dana threw the sink, he couldn't help holding back the corner of his mouth from rising into a smirk. His vibrant blue eyes surveyed the room, noticing Carys pull out her whip. Good, her hot temper wasn't going to last long, He analyzed, before scanning over to a blonde haired girl. His eyes sparkled with anticipation as she looked about ready to explode, fire swirling at her sides. 

Toni was standing behind the two girls this time, trying to control her breathing, trying to keep herself from letting her anger get the better of her. However, once the violence was introduced to the short-lived conversation, or introduction was what they had thought of it, her palms burst into hot, blue-tinted fire. She took a step forward after noticing one of the girls who had the snake on her shoulder before pull out a whip. Her eyes widened, and she tried to get closer to her friend in an effort to warn her. "Dana, watch out-!" She yelled, her voice hoarse from panic, but it was too late once Carys caused a gust of wind to throw her target back. Not taking a second longer to think, she whipped around with narrowed eyes and snarling lips. "You!" Toni spat at the attacker, raising her fiery palms to face the girl, now almost fully blue, "Fuck you!" Her flames burst towards Carys, hoping to incinerate the girl, not caring what consequences she would earn afterwards. What little did she know, was that her blue flames had spread all around her uncontrollably as well.

Daisy felt her wings growing bigger, and she had to shakily lift herself to her feet so they wouldn't be stopped against the wall. She could barely see anything that was going on around her as stars formed in her vision. She could only see the tints of blue and red fire, and suddenly a large black figure jumping in front of her. She blinked, realizing it was Vana, and gasped when a sink pummeled into her. Daisy felt a sharp pain in her left wing and realized half of the sink had ripped through her wing, and she let out a blood curdling cry, dropping to the floor once again. She hadn't realized that her sonic scream had come out, and she flinched when a nearby shower head exploded into thousands of pieces of metal out onto the floor in front of her.

Riley gasped, running over to Dana and reaching out a finger to wipe the blood at her nose, but realizing nothing was actually there. She shot a glance towards the entrance, where the three Dangerous Seven stood and... was that a bear? They both fell to the ground as a sink hit them, and she tucked her head into her chest when the girl screamed. It was so utterly loud that she felt as if her ears were going to implode. Pieces of metal from the shower head flew towards her, and she winced when a sharp part scratched her bare neck.

Carys threw up another wall of ice between her and the exploding shower, her first thought suddenly being 'wow, this shower room is going to be trashed' before the scream hit her ears. Shoving her hand over her ear, she tried to manoeuvre her arm around her face to hold it over both her ears. Obviously, that didn't work, and she cringed as she continued to hold back the flames.


"Holy fuck," Dana gasped as the sink hit the girl, her own back suddenly feeling like somebody had... well, thrown a sink through it. She slammed her hands over her ears as the same girl screamed, not even noticing all the metal flying until it was inches away from her and Riley and she quickly shoved her palm up, stopping maybe half of the shower hitting them. When a piece hit her leg, she drew in a sharp breath, assuming somebody else had been hit. Her ears ringing, she moved a hand to the back of her head slowly, the world spinning in front of her as she brought her hand back to see even more blood. "You mkay?" she asked Riley, attempting to blink away the fog in front of her eyes but only making it worse. Pressing another hand to her side, she tried to register all the areas where she was bleeding but honestly it was a bit of a mess, her back felt like it'd been ripped through and her side was throbbing and she assumed it was her fault for throwing two sinks but here she was. "How did this go to shit so fast?" she murmured again, head rolling to the side slightly.

Cole had been having a perfectly fine day. Today was the day that he was going to take a normal shower and bear through the pain because goddamnit he needed to be clean once in a while right? The closer he got to the doorway, the louder all the crashing and screaming became. Man, who was having sex in there? A fucking monkey? He peeked in slightly at the mess. "EXcuSe me? WHat the fuck?" Immediately, his eyes landed on Daisy. His breath caught in his throat. It felt like a year as he managed to stumble over his own feet and run over to her, falling to his knees on her level and delicate hands moving over her shoulder. "Daisy? Daisy are you okay?"

Levana let out a soft rumble/growl as Daisy’s scream pierced her ears. Since she couldn’t cover her ears much, she dealt with the sound and focused on the other girls. She then let out a loud roar, her teeth in this form very large, saliva dripping slightly from them. She didn’t care whether the guards did anything later; having someone hurt her siblings caused her to become more angry. Her shadows were now also enveloping the floor, as well as her body giving her a more menacing look. She ignored the pain in her side and took a couple steps towards the girls, not wanting to hurt them severely so she opted to try and scare them more.

Azrail viewed the scene as if it was a cartoon for a child. The flames bursting around, the action, the drama. It all gave him a tiny bit of excitement in his dull days, but not as much as he wished for. His eyes flicked over to Daisy as her wings emerged, holding a calm and calculating expression, wondering if she would join the fight. However, once the green-haired girl threw the sink, causing a rip in her wing, he frowned. "That's enough for toda-" He began to mutter to himself, taking a step forward and meaning to leave his hiding place. However, his breath caught in his throat as Daisy's sonic-scream activated due to her overwhelming pain coming form the wound. He grimaced against the shock-waves, holding his palms over his ears as an automatic body defense; although it didn't help the pulsing agony his ear-drums experienced. Once her scream faltered to a stop, he quickly slipped out the stall, and took a inhaling breath before softly exhaling. The room temperature quickly decreased, becoming terribly frigid and so cold, that you could see the puffs of white from each one's breath. Frost crept up the corners of the room, and up the walls ever so slowly. It was quite beautiful to him, the room colder, somehow dimmer and glittering with the small ice crystals. Toni's and Carys's burning flames slowly extinguished, and he held out his palms as if it was all a joke to everyone. "I think there's been a misunderstanding," He began, his expression turning into a very convincing guilty, pleading look, "I'm the one who created the fake illusions, so don't attack them. Maybe we can sit down and discuss this somewhere? I'm dreadfully sorry, we only thought it would be a fun little joke." 

Toni tried to push through Carys's defense, but it was like she had an impossible shield to break through, blocking twenty things at once. She let out a sudden wail as Daisy screamed, piercing her eardrums. Toni widened her eyes as she noticed the wound on the girl's wing. Dropping to her knees, her lips pursed as she looked around her, her blue fire spreading without her knowing. No control. She recalled the talks with her therapists and scientists to keep her emotions in check, or this would happen. Her heart hammered in her chest as she remembered her injured friend and wanted to punch herself so badly right there and then for being so foolish. Although she planned on trying to end the situation there much more peacefully, she looked up from the ground as the room suddenly turned very cold.

Daisy reached out a shaky hand to wrap her fingers around the rip in her wing. She let out a shuddering sob, watching the scene unravel before her. Everyone slowly removing their hands from their ears. The pieces of metal from the exploded shower littering the floor. She brought her free hand to her mouth in shock at the destruction she managed to create. She flinched at Cole's touch, only for a moment until she realized who it was. She nodded, offering a wary smile. After applying pressure for a few seconds, she lifted her hand and waved it in the air, sparkling light emitting onto her wings. They slowly caved in on themselves and reentered her back, but even after her skin tissue closed was a large scar open below her spine, blood oozing over her back. She shot her head up when the temperature dropped and she breathed, watching a cloud of white form before her lips. "Please, Azrail," she sobbed, pressing her palms into the tile and watching as light formed a circle around her hands. 

Riley nodded to Dana, reaching her hand back and wiping the small trickle of blood that had escaped from the scratch on her neck. She shuddered, watching as frost began to form in the corners of the room. "What in fresh hell is wrong with this guy?" she said louder than she meant, watching who must be another Dangerous Seven as he appeared in the doorway. She tried to stop Dana as she got up, wincing at her wobble towards the boy. She pursed her lips when she shoved him away, praying that he wouldn't retaliate even further from that act of defiance.

Azrail watched in amusement as Dana limped over to him through the corner of his eye. Even though at first he did not expect her to attempt to push him over, he did see an opportunity arise. Whipping around his head, he reached out his hand to meet the one she had used in such a threatening manner, grazing it, as if he was only reaching out to keep his balance. He knew his power was there, not fully available, but just a little bit lingering on to his cold fingers. And he did know she was injured severely; anyone could tell just upon a glance of her bloodied clothing. However, out of the facts that he gathered which excited him most was that everyone in the room would see this only as an accident. And without any remorse, or empathy, he merely stood there to watch as she would die.

Cole frowned down as Daisy as her wings retracted. He brought his hands up to the tears falling down her cheeks. He wiped them away with his thumbs, trying as hard as he could not to shock her skin when the salty water burned his hands. He stood and faced Azrail, giving none of his anger away. "Illusions? You did this to your own sister?" He bit his lip before he could snap, composing himself. Lightning danced between his fingers like a sick magic trick. "Carys, what in the ever-loving fuck happened here?" He kept by Daisy's side the whole time, only turning to face his other sister.

Cole stared at Carys for a few seconds before forcing himself to calm down. "So now that we've all made up," he clapped his hands together loudly, trying to get everyone's attention. When his hands connected, electricity sparked from them slightly. "What are we going to do about the shower?" He paused for a moment, looking up thoughtfully before looking to the shattered sink on the ground. "And sink?" His eyes glazed over the mess that the other patients had made, and then at the frost climbing up the walls. The guards are gonna kick our asses to hell and back. Pretty sure the bathrooms are more expensive than the entire facility itself. He thought to himself sarcastically, crossing his arms. "The workers are gonna be so mad. Didn't they just have to fix the bathrooms a while ago?"

Daisy felt herself shrivel into a ball, pulling her knees up to her chest and rubbing her fingers along her legs, goosebumps trailing the skin. She kept her eyes on Azrail, trying to break through his mysterious exterior. She gasped when Dana hit the floor, trying to push herself up to go and stop Azrail from causing anymore damage. She felt her bones crack and winced, forcing herself to lean back against the wall in pain.

Riley immediately jumped up onto her feet when Azrail retaliated, what had been her worst fear. She ran to Dana and dropped back down to her knees, taking her friend in her arms and gently holding her head. She shot her eyes up at Azrail, tears brimming the sides at the realization of how injured Dana really was. "What's wrong with you?" she cried. "You could kill her!" her voice gradually raised until she completely lost it. She lifted her hand, and sent a gust of wind in his direction with a scream at the pain it was causing her, because she had mostly trained with lightning. She breathed heavily, hoping to see him get what he deserves.

Levana, overcome with rage, noticed the guards try to tackle her. She let out a very loud, almost deafening roar, and tackled the one nearest her. She used a massive paw and flung him across the showers. She did see the tranq gun, but was more consumed by her blood lust/rage that she focused on the one she had attacked. She hated the guards, with a passion, everyone here except her ‘siblings’.

Cole, on command, put his hands up above his head when he saw Azrail being pushed up against the wall. He watched in surprise as Levana threw the guard against the wall, grimacing in sympathy. As the tallest guard shouted about going to the cage, he couldn't help but let the selfishness get to him. "B-But I just got here!" He sputtered, fear twisting in his gut. He could already feel the claustrophobia gripping at his neck now, not wanting him to get shoved in his tiny section and have his powers rendered. Soon, after Dana would be accounted for, he would be pushed out of the room and down the hall.

After flinging the guard and becoming a bit blind from her rage, she had forgot about her wound that was still bleeding. Since she had lost a bit and her head was now starting to pound, she shook her head a bit before collapsing. She hadn’t realized that a guard had actually shot 4 tranq darts in her, unfortunately they had gone right into her side that was injured and bleeding. She stumbled a bit, her massive paws feeling heavy as she quickly shifted back to human form. She only did this while still conscious before passing out a moment later.

Cole snapped out of his trance to run over to Levana just in time to catch her. He hissed at the amount of bleeding she was suffering from and pressed on the wound as he slung one of her arms over his shoulder. He pressed his lips together guiltily as he remembered she couldn't feel the shocks emitting from his skin as she was tranquilized. He looked at the guard who was standing up and groaning in pain apologetically, not wanting to fight. The guard came over to them, and Cole passed Levana on to the shorter man. He skipped over to Carys slightly, eyes flashing with worry. "Hey, are you alright?"

Azrail grunted as he was slammed into the wall, patted down and getting his hands locked up once more. He smiled slightly, noticing how the breathing from the guard gave away his nervousness. Stocked up with deadly supplies, but still terrified, He thought to himself, relaxing his shoulders as he obeyed the command to start walking. 

Toni didn't have time to get up and see if her friend was okay. The guards rushed in like a swarm of bees, tasers pulled out, tranquilizers being shot, and screaming orders at the now bewildered patients . Everything seemed to move in a haze, as she was grabbed by the arm and yanked onto her feet. "Shit, why did I f*cking have to blow up back there?" She muttered to herself, wincing as a guard shot Carys's back with a taser. As much as she wanted to turn the girl into a burnt chicken nugget a few minutes before, her eyes were now narrowed in irritation at the guard injuring her. "Assholes! That's overboard!" She spat, her head suddenly beginning to throb from being so tired. Her regeneration power must have healed any small wounds without her realizing it during the skirmish, but now she felt as if all her energy had been sapped right out of her body as her legs began to feel like melted wax.

Daisy cried when the guard picked her up and roughly tossed her a few times to comfortably hold her. His hard uniform pressed against the gruesome scar on her back, and she winced in pain. "Please," she said to the guard, barely a whisper. "Be gentle." she licked her lips at the taste of blood in her mouth, and began seeing spots in her vision. Her mind felt completely and utterly empty.

Riley gasped when the guards entered, stumbling back towards Dana and dropping to shroud her. One pushed her away with ease, and she scowled, watching him gently help her at the notice of her severe injuries. Another guard came up behind her and grabbed her, pulling a taser to her temple. She screamed a bloody scream and kicked backwards, aiming for a spot she knew would hurt. Of course, she missed and cursed, flinging herself in different directions as the guard stumbled to keep her held. "Please, take me with Dana!" she cried, reaching a hand for her friend.
